Kevin Rasmussen: Out For Adventure
CALEB SCHAFTLEIN,
Could you please give us a little introduction and tell us about your first experience with modeling? How didyou get started and where are you currently based?
I am currently based near Salt Lake City, UT, and my mother agent is Stars Talent Studio.
A friend of mine, who was with Stars Talent Studio, encouraged me to apply to the agency. I followed through, and my first step was investing in building up my portfolio by doing photoshoots.
What was your first job as a model? How did it feel?
It was a while ago I do not recall what my first modeling job was.
Besides modeling, what else are you passionate about?
I am passionate about discovering and pursuing my life’s mission and purpose. As part of that, I love working out and exercising to develop the body, and I enjoy learning about philosophy, history, and other disciplines to develop the mind.
Is there anyone in the modeling industry you look up to?
Yes.

What do you value most in a photographer who collaborates with you?
I would say their unique style and vision with their approach which brings variety to projects and my portfolio.
What are your goals for your modeling career?
1. Exposure and representation in different markets: I’m looking to expand into other markets, as modeling opportunities are limited in Utah. I am actively seeking good representation in other locations, have signed up with additional platforms, and am making more connections.
2. Participation in runway: I have recently been coached and trained in runway modeling and did my first runway show in September for NYFW. I plan to apply for more shows now that I am prepared.
3. Becoming trained in commercials and acting: I am still developing in speaking roles, but I have signed up for classes and am actively working to improve.
Do you have any upcoming projects you want to share?
Without revealing too much at this time I have signed some new contracts and working through next steps.
