I was photographing since I got my first phone, when I was fairly young, I had my “camera” always with me, so I constantly was making some kind of photo. Then I bought my first camera at 19 years old and I could photograph a little more professional. I was very interested (since it was my primary medium) into mobile photography, then I had to le-learn everything on a DSLR. I bought the. My very first Canon with a 50mm lens, so I can follow around my two cats and capture their expressions.
I had a huge break in photography and my partner prompted me to do more with what I am best at, which was always – creating art. I have this passion to be remembered by my art, either paintings, drawings or photography itself and I always imagined myself as an artist with a capitol A standing next to my favorite creators. This is my motivation and my dream.
Oh, nothing ever goes as planned! I tend to plan a photoshoot based on my inspirations, so it always looks a little bit different. When working with models, sometimes a different face can inspire me a bit different, so it really depends.
I feel like my photographs stands out as they have this early 2015 beige Instagram vibe and they are just entirely cozy and full of nature – I adore this theme and I find my inspirations with full passion in nature as I studied biology. It makes my photographs has this kind of emotions towards it. I like to and I’d like to incorporate it more in my future Fashion shoots as well.
Mostly from Nature, I get inspired by other people, faces, what I can recall from anything I’ve seen before and how I see it with my eyes…
When I worked for a youtube channel and people (not related to me in any way) began to comment on how much they liked the photos. That was important to me, that somebody sees me and my style and that I can create something and that only I can create my photographs and this will be unique, because it will come from “me”.
I think that if something is made with heart and emotion and if you loved it, then it’s a good photograph to me.
I tend to meet halfway, but I love clients that trust me in my vision.
Oh, there is an australian photographer called Elle May Watson and I really look up to her work. I was very much inspired by her natural shoots.
Sofie Sund, Oprisco, Ovors…
In animal photography there is Konsta Punkka and I loved his shots.
From the Fashion world, there are some names and they all inspire me differently, but for sure many polish photographers, including the ones I saw featured in Vogue.
I love beige tones and they always come back to me in editing process – can’t escape them. But for editing I like to think that I see what looks best on a photo for my own eyes, so this always comes up to me and it’s a bridge between a photo and “my style” in it.
There is always a minor thing that goes wrong, that’s why it’s so important for a photographer to know how to handle stress and any kind of exposure.
I think that trying to be inspired by others and making lots of, LOTS OF photographs can help a lot in finding your own voice and your own style. It can take years to do that. And I still haven’t found mine fully. It takes time.
Oh, this is definitely something to do with my cat, how can you not love those?
And my lovely series with eyes and animals:
This is going to be a Fashion photoshoot as it is about me now getting into Fashion Photography – I study now this genre, so it is going to be something along with that :)
